Wiltshire Police in Special Measures

Wiltshire Police has been placed in special measure by the police inspectorate.

It is rated as requiring improvement in 5 areas, and as inadequate in three areas.  These are:

– protecting vulnerable people

– responding to the public

– strategic planning, organisational management and value for money.
