Update on Safety Concerns about the St George’s Road By-way SEMI 9A/10

A message from Wiltshire Council today says that there has been a delay in completing the promised safety audit on the by-way owing to staffing resources.  It is promised before Christmas.

In the interim, Wiltshire Council says, give-way markings and instructional signing for cyclists will be put in place at the junction of the byway with St Georges Road.  Although this pre-empts the outcome of the audit, it is being done because of concerns from residents about the problems with cyclists leaving the by-way and joining the road.  It isn’t clear when this work will be completed.
