Referendum Success
The outcome of the Neighbourhood Plan Referendum held on Thursday February 27th was a large vote in favour of the plan:
YES = 234 votes NO = 18 votes
There are 809 voters in the parish and so this was a 31.3% turnout which is at the high end of typical turnouts for referendum in small communities. 69 votes were cast by post and 183 at the village hall.
Peter Smith, Chair of the Steering Group, said how gratifying it is that the Plan has received such strong support across the parish.
Here is a video of the announcement of the results at County Hall.
