Local election outcomes

Jonathon Seed has been elected as the member for Wiltshire’s new Melksham Without West and Rural constituency and will therefore continue to represent Semington on Wiltshire Council.  The full set of constituency results can be seen here and the full composition of the new council here.

As you will be aware, there was no election for Semington Parish Council as fewer than 9 people stood.  The new membership currently is: Vicky Bodman, Siobhan Chown, Mike Kasasian, Bill Scott and Peter Smith, although we anticipate that more members will be co-opted at the first meeting of the new council on May 18th.  If being one of those appeals to you, please contact the Clerk to the council, Roger Coleman through this website.
