Semington Parish Council

A full Semington Parish Council comprises nine parish councillors.

There will not be a Parish Council election in Semington on 6 May 2021 because there were insufficient candidates nominated for the nine parish councillor vacancies.

There were five nominees who will now comprise the new Parish Council, thereby leaving vacancies for a further four councillors. Details of those nominated can be found on the Wiltshire Council website (under Council, Democracy and Elections).

The new Parish Council when it takes office on 10 May 2021 will have the power at its first meeting, scheduled for Tuesday 18 May 2021, to co-opt a total of four new members on to the Council, subject to certain eligibility requirements being met.
